I wish I could write out my day today and let it inspire me the next time I read it.
Discovery is essential, and the more I meet people that feel this way, the more I feel reassured that I'm doing things right. It's a good feeling; This feeling of knowledge and growth.

First off, I had my orientation at Gap today and I really feel like this is going to be the greatest job.

I saw a friend at Starbucks the other night and he said that we should plan a day to hang out. Although I knew that this was just an outing with a friend, when plans got settled, I was uncomfortable with hanging out with him. Not because I felt like he had different intentions, but really because we were never that close. Plus, we had only hung out a few times, and this would be the first time going out alone. Even though we had classes in highschool, and he took choir, our friendship was never based on anything more than jokes. I didn't want him to get the wrong impression, or give the wrong impression. But the fact is, is that it wasn't like that AT ALL. Today was just so refreshing. I went to the MOCA museum with Philip. We went to see the Ectasy exhibit and it was really, really great. We had amazing conversations about EVERYTHING. From relationships, down to the expansion of the mind. This was truly an experience because one, I had never seen his serious side, and two I felt like he was being completely genuine with his thoughts (Which is great because I think that genuine people who are willing to open up are really hard to find).

After the museum we went to starbucks and over coffee and chit-chat the power completely went out. The store was pitch black and there became an instant bond with all the costumers around. It was surreal. We honestly made a Starbucks family because noone else was let in. The employee locked the door and just let everyone stay inside. I seriously felt like we were in a movie.

We walked down the street and noticed that one side of the street was completely lit and the other completely dark. I had never seen something like that before, it was just another thing that was movie like. We went to the book store and talked about coincedences and then it all started happening. All these random things started connecting and all these coincedences happened. I can't even explain. Then he started talking about the show 8 Simple Rules and then asked if I knew the hot blonde daughter in the show, and I yelled "She's not hot!" and then he pointed over to the cookbooks and she was there. Haha, it was pretty hilarious.

This may seem so simple, but growing up and finding yourself is beautiful.

I would like to tell someone specifically, if you're reading this you will know who you are, but I have full respect for your plans on finding yourself; that was never my grudge. You will love this experience, and although I have a ways to go, I can't wait.

It turns out that the MOCA was closed, so we weren't able to see the Ecstacy Exhibit. But that definetly didn't stop us from having a good time! First we went to this japanese restaurant that had stinky Jello. HONESTLY, IT REEKED OF ASS. After that, we decided to make Jason try mochi, but I guess THAT tasted like ass because the green tea one wasn't good. I registered for classes, and then we all went to Myke's house and smoked hooka. Apparently, Jen has a PHD in smoking hooka, so she brought out some mad skills. She gave us the idea of making smoke bubbles. So from then on, we all smoked hooka, listened to Rock Lobster and made a mess with the bubbles! YOU GOTTA SEE THESE SMOKE BUBBLES!!!!!

Corky the tweaker dog!

Those are the smoke bubbles!
